Cobb Sr. is the first cobb building built at Pine Manor. What started as an experiment became an icon for our guests and visitors. A cobb building is made of a combination of mud and hay and is a building method that has proven sound for thousands of years.
Cobb Sr. is at the center of Pine Manor and brings a true connection to earth-living. It features a small fireplace and a spacious bay window for reflection.
Guests may choose to convert the bay window into a bed to fall asleep while gazing out at the stars, or a bed can be brought into sleep by a warm evening fire.
